Welcome to Big Park
Our property, Big Park, is located at Lower Turners Marsh, 30 minutes north east of Launceston, Tasmania. It is a beautiful undulating grazing property of approximately 270 acres with river frontage to Pipers River. The name Big Park is the name given to Gail’s family’s original property which was located at Rosevale, Tasmania.
We carry the following stock on Big Park - Murray Greys and Standardbreds, for breeding and sale purposes. Big Park is the largest Standardbred stud in Tasmania and stands the fastest standardbred stallion to come to Tasmania, Jr Mint.
We are the proud parents of four children, two daughters, the eldest and youngest, Nicole and Sheryn and two sons, Nathan and John, who all live and work in northern Tasmania. Our beautiful daughters have made us very happy grandparents to three gorgeous granddaughters, Sara, Macy and Gemma. And of course the girls respective partners, Andrew and Daniel, are part of the family! Two dogs, two chooks, and one cat make up Big Park.
