About Big Park

Big Park Standardbred Stud is available to supply Artificial Insemination services for standardbred mares to your choice of stallion from anywhere in Australasia.   Big Park has two qualified AI technicians, with Gail and daughter Sheryn Fenton both having passed the AI and Stallion Handling Course at Glenormiston in December, 2007. In July 2009 Gail successfully completed an Advanced Equine Reproductive Management Short Course conducted by the vets at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital. Sheryn had previously worked for three breeding seasons at Berriedale Stud, and has therefore brought valuable experience to the operation.  Big Park Standardbred Stud have 12 mares of their own and breed to sell yearlings at the Tasmanian Premier Yearling Sale each January in Launceston.  For more details go to Standardbreds page.

Big Park Murray Grey Stud has females and bulls for sale all year round and are always increasing their herd genetics with the purchase of stock from intrastate and interstate.  Big Park Murray Grey Stud offer cattle for sale each year at the Island State Sale, Powranna held in early May.  For more information go to Murray Greys page.
