Big Park Murray Greys- Founded 1995
Big Park Murray Grey Stud was founded in 1995, with the purchase of seedstock from local and mainland studs. We purchased and moved to a larger property in August 2001. We have participated in the local show circuit obtaining many ribbons and broad ribbons. We have sold females and bulls intra-state and interstate, and have received favourable responses from our many purchasers.
The 2009 Scottsdale Show has proven to be a great success for Big Park this year with Onward Sam being sashed as Supreme Champion Interbreed Beef Bull beating a strong field of 15 senior bulls representing several breeds. Onward Sam also won Senior Champion Murray Grey Bull, Champion Murray Grey Bull and Senior Bull Beef Interbreed.
Big Park will offer at the Island State Multi Vendor Sale in May 2010, two cows and calves, one lovely led heifer and an outstanding young bull by Thologolong Yallangatta. For further details contact us at Big Park or Roberts Limited Launceston office.
2009 drop calves by Thologolong Yallangatta and Onward Sam are continuing to impress with weaning weights above other years and all displaying very quiet temperaments. Cows have been paddock joined with Onward Sam and Wallawong Quench with calving due early March 2010.
