Big Park sold five yearlings at the 2012 Tasmanian Premier Yearling Sale.
Local purchasers grabbed some bargains at the 2012 Tasmanian Premier Yearling Sale. Lot 3 colt by Jr Mint out of Annbolyn, similar breeding to ill-fated Royal Sniper, sold for $5,750 to P Geard. Lot 8 colt by first year sire Major in Art out of well bred mare Seduce sold for $9,000 to local investor Warren Viney, who also purchased Lot 31 the lovely filly by Tiz a Masterpiece out of producing mare El Jays Belle for $3,000. Lot 14 the strong colt by Courage Under Fire out of Superior Stature sold for $8,000 to J Kirby and the outstanding colt by Tiz A Masterpiece out of Hawkette was knocked down to B Yole for $2,750. We wish all purchasers the best of luck and success with their horses.
Big Park sold four of their six entries at the 2011 Tasmanian PremierYearling Sale.
Buyers were a scarce commodity at the Tas Premier Yearling Sale on Saturday 8th January, 2011. Big Park sold four of their draft of six fillies offered.
- Lot 12 Blissful Hall filly out of Seduce sold for $10,500 to John Reid of Hobart.
- Lot 18 Jr MInt out of 100% producer El Jays Belle only reached $5,500 in bidding so has returned to Big Park and is for private sale, as is Lot 22 Life Sign out of Superior Stature, who has produced a 1:58.9 winner in Cruisin Fella.
- Lot 34 Courage Under Fire out of Highview Goldie sold to repeat buyer Doug McLaine for $6,500.
- Lot 55 Life Sign out of Hawkette sold to Trevor Donaldson for $4,000.
- Lot 60 Life Sign out of Annbolyn sold for $5,000 to Adrian and Amanda Duggan.
